TASTING
Medium intensity ruby color, complex and delicate aroma, with notes of ripe red fruit, typical of the castelão variety, slight fresh vegetable and toasted notes well integrated from the long aging in barrels. In the mouth it is a wine with firm tannins, elegant and persistent.

VINIFICATION
Vinification by the traditional method in Algerian amphorae, with fermentation temperatures around 24ºC. Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months, with the final blend of two new barrels of 300L, and a barrel of 4th use of 225L. Bottled on January 06, 2021. A total of 1003 bottles were bottled. They are aging in the mines of Lousal, in a dark and cool place.

ACCOMPANIMENT
Should be served at a temperature of 18ºC. It goes well with cod dishes and more delicate game dishes. Longevity of 12 years.
